IN REACH was painted with the idea in mind of a "masterpiece." Starting with the initial question. What does a $10,000 painting look like to me? Why is it the masterpiece? What about it is so unique and important? It was my first attempt at a masterpiece. It is a clawing a longing towards this vision I have for myself. One outside of the norms. Can I really defy the odds? Can I seriously do the unthinkable? Can I achieve my dreams despite the odds? Can I have the life I long for regardless of the blocks against it? If I can see it in my head is it realy reachable? It has to do with the dream realm. It was created for the one who thinks out of the box. The one that goes out on their own to create something that never existed before. The one who believes so deeply in their dreams and sees them so clearly that they won't be stopped by the outside noises. They won't be told no. They won't doubt themselves no matter how far off the beaten track they have wandered. If you can see it, you can have it you can be it. You can reach it. If you can think it up in your mind and scheme it, you can do it. This painting is for those who need the remider that you can be what you want to be, no matter what you are faced with or up against. You can do the thing. You can make the album. You can open the restraunt. You can have a garden. You can find true love. You can be a successful artist. You can heal yourself from your illness. Just focus on it and the outcome and have tunnel vision and you will get there.
