Grace Lawless is an artist residing in Missoula, Montana. Her work is inspired by deep emotional expression and questioning of what is truly possible. She believes it is okay to be unrealistic sometimes. The paintings can resemble childlike and playful because she loves the authenticity and pureness of that place we once all came from. Out of that place is where new concepts and systems can actually be born. She is fueled by doubt and nay sayers. Her work can sometimes be ironic, highlighting her own mental blocks to becoming a successful artist.
